Dr. Katz to moderate panel at Life Sciences Expo
Steven Katz, MD, FACS, a surgeon and researcher with the Cancer Center at Roger Williams Medical Center, is moderator of a panel at MedMates' 2nd Annual Life Sciences Expo on April 4, 2018 at the Omni Providence Hotel. The panel, entitled "Immuno-Oncology and CAR-T Cell Therapies”, features representatives from Novartis, Roger Williams Medical Center and Sorrento Therapeutics who will share their groundbreaking work in developing novel, personalized treatments for blood and solid tumor cancers.
Dr. Katz is Director of Surgical Immunotherapy and Director of the Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Roger Williams Medical Center. He also serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery at Boston University School of Medicine. He is joined on the panel by Robert Knight, MD, Vice President of Clinical Research at Sorrento Therapeutics, and Michael Greene, MD, PhD, Immuno-Oncology, Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research.
